AIA New York State
Vice President
Government Affairs
Michael Shilale has been making a
difference for communities throughout his twenty years as
an architect.
His newest challenge is to serve
as Vice-President for Government Advocacy for the State
Board of the
American Institute of Architects. "Serving over six
thousand architects and our communities is a great
opportunity and I am proud to represent our
profession." says Shilale.

Newark Approves
Vailsburg Child Development Center
New 30,000 sf preschool serving 210
children to begin construction soon.
Recently the City of Newark Planning Board approved
Michael Shilale
Architects, LLP (MSA)
designs for a new child care center to be built in
the Ivy Hill section of the city.
This project is partly the result of a landmark court
decision in NJ called the Abbott case.
